As far as mod-killing, the argument against it is that we end up out of balance, right? Because this is a very large game and we might actually get more participation if we had fewer players, if that makes any sense. I think folks end up a day (real day, not game Day) or so behind, look at the enormous amount of catch up they have to do and just freeze.
Is there any way to make catching up easier? I looked at the email digest option and couldn’t get it to work (although I need to check my spam filter - I will go look there).
Any other ideas? We could have summaries, but who would do them? I think the closest we can get to them is the vote counts. Maybe someone else out there has another thought on how players who have fallen behind can get a concise read on the data stream.
Yeah, weird auto correct. The decision was made that one mod kill already had more influence on the game outcomes than we were happy with and with the likelihood of further modkills in later rounds being high (see toDay) we needed to make every effort to find substitutes.

I’m not a huge fan of this vote. We have a claimed third-party and a liar out there, and you’re voting a one-off? I understand wanting to get your suspicions out there, but there are better targets toDay. That vote could be saved for later. Making the case is fine, voicing suspicion is fine, but this vote just makes it less likely that we can multi-lynch, and I think offing both brewha and crys toDay would be pro-town, because we’d learn more from it. If all else fails, we can try to Vig the runner-up, but with potential Vig switches out there, that might not be an option.

Batman is the thing that goes bump in the night for scum. If the my can eliminate him… good. 56 players alive… 14 scum. That’s a 1 in 4 chance of hitting scum. How is batman a liability… even if they shot randomly the odds aren’t that bad… and if they shoot with some sleuthing behind the target or with town’s preferences in mind… then they give us a 2nd kill every cycle without losing the info we gain between kills. Plus… it’s one thing if you get caught in a slip or a lie or your vote record bites you on the ass… those things come back on you or your scum team… but to get vigged… it’s something unforeseen… unplanned… and when you are competing with another scum team for larger numbers… well… I would want the vig out of the picture.

In case anyone cares, other than me, the voting robot seems to work (sorta) if you set the page display to 200 (which is the max for the Dope) and then do each page separately. The post counts are then wrong, because it thinks each page is starting over from one, but it does provide the vote and unvote record. I went through and corrected it quickly. I am just now compiling it, so it may be glitchy without vote tags. Spoilered for ridiculous length. I am going to use this to more closely examine the voting record, if I can, but I thought maybe this might help someone other than me.
