If a scum were to try to claim LUTHA membership wouldn’t they need to claim their number? Right now with all of you alive that will be ballsy as the real LUTHA member with that number would know they are lying scum. This is as far as I’ve gotten in my read today so forgive me if this has been addressed already.

Well sachertorte COULD be scum. They have given nothing that I didn’t say first. So since sachertorte has claimed I feel the need to investigate just to be sure, not only for my piece of mind but for others as well.
A few others want me not to investigate sachertorte and that is pinging me. I want to trust sachertortes claim however I think it’s best to find out for sure

I’m not so sure it is a bad plan. In a game this large it would be super easy for scum to lurk and stay out of trouble. And I don’t intend to just look at post count, but I will start with it, then asses what people have said with their precious sprinkling of posts.

I don’t think sachertorte has given a title. And it makes sense to validate his claim, ir one is able to do so. the only person that we are aware of with that ability is Crys. So crys, do what ya gotta do.
An often overlooked advantage of lynching lurkers is that you aren’t lynching people who are likely to help Town solve the gsme.
Seriously? They’re deciding who to kill. Talking about who we are and aren’t suspicious of just gives them more data to inform that decision. The fact that there are also daykills doesn’t mean we should actively contribute to what they end up deciding.

I did not.
I purposefully left that out so I could think about whether or not it makes sense. The only things I could think of were to be able to counter-claim a scum who false claims my number, but that isn’t going to happen because I don’t think scum will even try claiming cultist. Or if there is some nefarious role that needs certain cultists dead, but that’s the paranoia talking again.

To me, both you and sachertorte are confirmed. Telling us toMorrorow that you have found that he is indeed a cultist does not really tell me anything new. The chances of him having lied about this are ridiculously small.
Note that even if the scum were told about the cult and given a PM, they still wouldn’t be able to make a reliable false claim: there are 5 cultists and their roles are numbered from 1 to 5. Anyone trying to slip in among them will eventually be outed. If we end up with exactly 5 claimants then they can confirm each other. If we get more than 5 then again, their investigations can sort it out. And yes, those investigations would include sachertorte anyway.
That is why I think you should keep your investigation in reserve, so you can save it for when it will be more useful.
Anyway that is my opinion.

Then you went all paranoid on me because of speculation that scum were given the third party role PM, but that same line of “reasoning” that allows you to think I ‘could’ be scum, also pokes holes in your cultist claim too, right? Don’t let the paranoia rule your life. Write stuff down Crys, and don’t get swept up in the moment. You are a bit too impressionable. Write stuff down and then make your own decision.

Yes you do seem to be missing something. You don’t want to talk at Night because the wolves are deciding who to kill. By your same logic we shouldn’t talk during the Day either because the Mafia are deciding who to kill during Day. That leaves town with no time at which you feel it would be safe to talk.
In case that still doesn’t make it clear… no matter when we talk we will be giving info to one scum group or the other during the same phase that they will be choosing who to kill.
