So right now, we have 8 claimed vanilla and can have no more than 5 in the game. That means three are lying. However, I did technically advise the Suicidal Vig to hide in the vanilla pool, so one of the liars might be the Suicidal Vig.

Hopefully we can get claims from NAF and Flyfisheron before tomorrow, at which point we’ll need to get serious about finding scum.

I chose NAf cos it’s easier to type :). If the suicidal vig has done as you suggested story, then it increases the odds of (at least) one of the last 2 being scum.

One’s got to be Sarah, and one’s got to be the roleblocker, right?

In retrospect, I shouldn’t have been as anxious to get everybody to claim their actual role… had we simply claimed Power or Vanilla, we could have kept our power roles hidden. :frowning:

nah, that makes it more feasible for scum to false claim POWER. this way they have been coralled into vanilla.

we have 2 unspecified power role claims, 2 not claimed at all and 3 unclaimed power roles, but these numbers are shaky as one of the power roles may have claimed vanilla based on advice from strategising.

But then scum could have claimed “generic power role”, and then we’d have two pools with scum in it instead of just one.

We could have waited until the “power”-pool was overflowing…

Ok, so I am still catching up, but it’s going slow for me. Wednesdays are bad for me in general and with me being out yesterday it has been worse than usual. But I did spot this post.

Um…ballsy move Oredigger, but you are a liar. The only question now is, are you the Jester or vanilla scum?

Yeah, but then we could have had the generic power roles claim, if there were more than available slots. Then we’d have paired up more power roles, IMHO.

I just realized that I failed to actually claim in my last post. I am the paranoid doc. Unless there are two Oredigger is scum.

I like your “IMHO” better when your in agreement with my IMHO

I can’t find it right now - but I thought that [storyteller] did say - when the mass claim idea was discussed, that we didn’t have to claim our roles (sorry: Power roles).

this is an open set up. So we have scum in either you or oredigger. Who did you protect last night and why?

Same question for oredigger.

Oredigger claimed to protect CIAS. It’s in what I quoted.

But screw you if you think I am going to tell you who I protected and why.

Sorry, on re-read that was a bit harsh. Imagine I am saying it with a smile like I think I am really clever for using harsh language.

I am not going to tell you who I am protecting or why. Sorry, it just seems like a bad idea.

Woo hoo! Now we get to decide who’s lying, and who’s telling the truth.

Power role double claiming does seem to be the mark of a Jester. You’d almost think the Jester would be going after the real Doc, rather than the paranoid one.

I think this makes sence - we’re mass claiming - why provide all the other details? Isn’t that giving scum more information than they need???

no it doesn’t. We know we have a scum in Ore and NAF, so how do we pick between them? One way is to explore how they claim to have used their role ability and see who makes more sense. As things stand my NAF vote is remaining.

I think we should wait until there are less than 12 people before we lynch either of those 2.

On the plus side, the real one doesn’t have to protect themselves anymore.

If this turns out to be the only scum who didn’t go vanilla, then yeah, we save them for < 12 time. right now we need the unclaimed guy to claim, and the unspecified power role claims to specify.

This is where we started - now why can’t we stick to this?
I don’t like the way the strategy Storyteller made - just seems to be altered by anyones fancy. We had a plan - why not stick to it??

I actually agree with this point. I am not really much of a power role, you won’t be losing much.
