Mafia--T2: Behind the Scenes

I wouldn’t worry about it, I think I have figured out what **Squid’s **power does and I don’t think it could have confirmed me as anything.

No, Santo Rugger and Zeriel, I never claimed that the recording would confirm me. Hoped it would yes, because it would reduce the vanilla pool further, allowing better investigation. But I did not try to claim confirm I was confirmed and I suggest you read my question again, because it was a question.

Oh, and I would not have been surprised if **Squid **had held back something about the tape recording.

It doesn’t matter, really, except in helping me understand John Connor’s role and if helpful information can be gained from it. Do you have some kind of problem with my questions?

I seriously do not understand what the hell you are talking about.

Not really, other than the fact that Boozaholic has already addressed them.

I feel ya!

Posted too soon. To elaborate the second part of my response: what are you trying to determine that Boozy hasn’t told us already?

Kindly explain how this isn’t trying to get yourself to be considered confirmed.

Hey, does someone want to check my numbers on something?

If the Jester doesn’t recruit and we systematically lynch a person in the vanilla pool every Day…it’s not actually possible for the scum to win is it? Do I have that wrong?

I will answer this question. However, it will probably not help anyone, town or scum. This role is dependent on the color. It’s color based, and I’ve told y’all next to nothing about it.

Anyway,
John Connor’s question was:
“What’s wrong with Wolfie? I can hear him barking! Did someone feed him squid again?”

and CatInASuit’s reply was:
“Who’s wolfie? The dog’s name is Max”.

Also,
Vote Count!

Complete Votes:
CatInASuit: 1. Zeriel, 2. Santo Rugger, 3. NBC

Incomplete Votes:
Zeriel: 1. CatInASuit
Shadow Facts: 1. NBC
NOTE: INCOMPLETE VOTES DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO DUSK TALLIES!

Extra Effects:
Sarah Connor is currently intimidating NBC.

NBC: (7) (Shadow Facts 1st, CatInASuit 3rd, Sarah Connor Special Effect)
Zeriel: (3) (CatInASuit 1st)
CatInASuit: (3) (Zeriel 1st)
Santo Rugger: (2) (CatInASuit 2nd)

That is a definite possibility and it’s worrying me somewhat, however I don’t have anyone other than NBC really standing out at me at the moment. So for the time being and subject to change if anything new turns up:

Vote 1 NBC
Vote 2 Diggit
Vote 3 Pollux

Last two are placeholders.

Life is hard. Sometimes it is made much harder through circumstances that we cannot control, such as presence of scum within these walls that we find ourselves confined by. Thankfully we developed a civilization where we elect leaders to steer us through troubled times such as these, a steady hand at the wheel of fate if you will. Sometime we elect leaders who are wise, just and take thoughtful considered action. Sometimes not so much. Occasionally, through often unforeseen happenstance, we end up with leaders who, through lack of clarity of thought take a cue, unwittingly maybe, from our enemies. Alas today is such a day.
However as a willing participant in a process that may seam strange to a machine, yet is a thoroughly human invention, known as democracy, we have an obligation, dare I say a covenant with society, to follow the direction of the leaders we have wisely, or unwisely elected. So no matter the wrongheadedness and apparent lunacy of the decision, no matter that the leader in question displays the mental agility that might be likened to the physical agility of a three legged donkey with a hard on taped down to it’s hind leg, it is incumbent on me to follow the process. A process that many here have already given their lives to defend, think of poor Peeky who like to amuse himself with a tazer in the privacy of his own room, Flyfisheron who always enjoyed a long nap, and Zsofia who, well got thrown into a pool of molten metal for no other reason than she was there.
It seams that our politician, whose mind is like putty fresh from the can, whose vision is that of a blind syphilitic monkey, has had their lonely neuron swayed by the evil machines hidden amongst us, and I must follow their lead.

Vote 1 NBC for the restoration of democracy end the ending of the machine terror, even if it is with my own slightly crispy blood.
Vote 2 Diggit
Vote 3 Pollux

I believe the last two are placeholders.

In case you were wondering, I am not in agreement with this vote. I think story has done an admirable job of smudging me, and there are far better targets out there, Zerial (wwka cookies), Shadowfacts who throws votes around without reasons, and catinasuit and santo seam to have a ding dong battle over nothing which would be worthy of further investigation.

Damn NBC I’m almost tempted to unvote you for that. Bloody good speech and I’ll try to get treatment for my unfortunate STD. Right now I don’t have anything better to go on but the Day is relatively young and, well, I’m a politician so chances are I’ll waver 15 times before breakfast

Well, like I said before, my first role assignment was that of John Connor. And, unless the role changed, he can’t actually withhold anything from the recording.

Well, from what I can tell (in this post, **storyteller **actually seems to be rather consistent both in the enumeration of his plan and in his listing of disclosed roles. He doesn’t actually put your name in any particular spotlight. His emphasis seems to be both on the dual nature of the claimants of paranoid doctorhood and on the non-disclosure of the suicidal Vigilante’s identity.

Why do you feel he’s singling you out, NBC?

  1. vote OaOW
  2. vote Santo Rugger

Placeholders for the sake of my vote and to officially register my opinion on the which witch(er, doc) is which controversy.

Wow, that was unclear and wrong.

unvote 3. Santo Rugger
vote 3. Zeriel

THAT’S the placeholder.

unvote 2. OaOW
vote 2. Oredigger77

THAT’S my opinion on the doc controversy.

Z-man… do offense, but you’re a weirdo.

1. Vote NBC
2. Vote Zeriel
3. Vote Pollux

I’m still suspicious of NBC the most and Zeriel for Cookies’ behavior yesterDay, although Zeriel himself hasn’t acted as scummy. I’m voting for myself as a placeholder for now because I’m not really getting any reads off of any of the other vanillas.

My gut says Oredigger is more likely to be the scum than NAF. I can’t really quantify it with any specific examples, just from how both have acted.

Ok, that’s now twice you have voted for an uncontested power role

Seeing as your initial votes don’t match your stated reasoning (and yes, I know you changed them straight after) you wouldn’t care to comment a little further as to why you voted for these two people?

As ever, I will follow your lead. One minor thing that cheque you gave me was post dated for tomorrow, is that an oversight?

More of a reference to the back and forth we have had (story that is). I really should let it go, but it struck me that he was picking up on such minor things and twisting them around that I thought he was an experienced player trying to persuade town to lynch me. I did have him down as scum, but then with his pushing of the whole mass role claim, I really can’t see it as the mass role claim is a definite win for town.
