1. Can Sarah (aka MHaye) target herself for madness? In which case
2. Does she lose her powers permanently?
3. Does protection by a doc (any doc) prevent the Vig’s (aka myself) suicide at all? Or
4. Does said protection only delay the Vig’s suicide?**

1. It can happen, yes.
2. She loses all powers–self-modkill, vote influencing, and further insanity–permenantly.
3. Yes. However, it will cause the vig to become a vanilla townie as well.

As for the Vig, IIRC from **Pleonast’s **original conspiracy game: If they hit town, they would try to commit suicide each Night.

Not sure about them becoming vanilla, but **Diggit **should be able to clarify from the PM.

I may be getting this slightly confused with the Crusader role from the Sekham game as well though. Yet again, **Diggit **should be able to clarify that one as well

Well… we still aren’t allowed to quote from our PM’s, are we? However, there’s one sentence in it that agrees with pedescribe’s interpretation of the third point. I took it as a throwaway remark, but it fits.

As to the Crusader?

Crusader - At night, you will take your sword to his home to dispatch him. Sometimes (50%) you will lose your nerve and fail to kill. You need not kill every night, but you may not go two consecutive nights without attempting. If you have not attempted a kill on the previous night, because you spent the previous night dwelling on it, you will not lose your nerve. When all cultists have been uncovered, you will not be satisfied (i.e., unable to win) if you have not killed at least one non-believer (including pro-town) AND there are no non-believers remaining alive (including pro-town). If you are forcibly converted, because your mind has been twisted, you will lose your zeal and, thus, not be willing to continue in your night crusades.

A different story, because I was forced to kill at least one scum or would lose the game.

So, the long and the short of it is: we’ve lost our vig either way. Either he suicides tonight or he gets protected to prevent the suicide, with the result that he loses his killing power. Fargin’ icehole, that sucks.

On the plus side we’ll pick up two confirmed townies from Diggit living through the night, but we won’t be able to confirm anyone else. Which will give us three confirmed town and three scum we should still be ok in the long run.
