or did you mean the game was pyschopath?
I meant the game was the Psychopath one on the other board, not that you were a Psychopath in that game.
plus I did give reasons, not just in the way you wanted them given.
I wasn’t trying to bring grudges from that game into this one. I was just trying to explain what I thought your vote was about so those who didn’t know the history wouldn’t be confused. Unless your vote for me (in this game) wasn’t a joke / random?
It’s day one. Our percentage of lynching a scum are almost certainly equal to the percentage of scum in the total population. What we can do, however, is eliminate people who are going to bring their baggage into a game. My vote stands.
Agreed. Frankly I don’t want the discussion hijacked later with this type of bad reasoning.
To clear up the Vicar Role: each Day (before Wednesday noon, Pacific Time) a Vicar needs to PM or email their choice of blessing: one of the Players already dead (no matter how long dead) or the Player to be lynched at the end of that Day. A Vicar’s blessing will permanently prevent a corpse from becoming a Zombie.
Question, then: why would the Vicar ever do anything but bless today’s lynchee?

When the dead start piling up (with Night kills and such) it makes sense for the Vicar to keep the scum guessing as to who s/he blessed. If all the Vicar ever did was bless the Day kill, the Necromancer would take care to raise only the Night kills as zombies.
Well, **fluiddruid is here and participating, so I am going to move my vote to Blaster Master, who as far as I can tell has yet to post anything, with less than 48 hours to go until deadline.

I think that fluiddruid is referring to toDay’s kill only. The Vicar will only have one corpse to choose from, so (s)he’s guaranteed to bless the corpse that the Necromancer will try to animate.
Okay, catching up now. I’m usually one that thinks no-lynch is bad, but in this game I dunno if it’s completely bad for Day One. Any after, yeah. But not Day One so much.

Huh.
Plus he’s not even acting a bit like he was before. Before he was making bigger posts and longer posts and had so many questions to the point people started telling him to stop talking.
But one person that’s pinged me a bit more so far is Zoggie. Too many questions. Acting purposefully dumb? Plus that one question s/he had about the Cabal in post number 221. Shouldn’t that have been in PM maybe? I mean it seems too easy to ask about the Cabal and pretend you don’t understand something about that group when in fact, you are part of that group. Just strikes me as a sneaky way to make people think you aren’t something if you’re asking questions publically about them.
For those voting for me for the MHaye thing: For the record, I’d like to hear your thoughts on One And Only Wanderers. I feel it is only fair to distinguish why one is voting for me and not for One and Only Wanderers.
That’s a fair question. I’d be fine with voting OaOW, as well. But you went along and reinforced his bad line of reasoning, so I find you equally as culpable, and so just as votable. If you want to give me a good reason to switch to him over you, I might go along with it.
Re; BlasterMaster… he’s not off the internet, either, as he’s posting regularly in the Night on the offgame board. I’ll PM him over there to remind him he’s in this game.
I had a case against somebody laid out in my head before I left work today, and by the time I got back, it was irrelevant. I’ll try and post something substantial tomorrow
Apologies everyone, I didn’t have internet access over the weekend, and I got distracted today with the day end activities in the Firefly game. I’ll try to post something of content tonight or tomorrow morning.

Question, then: why would the Vicar ever do anything but bless today’s lynchee?
I’m not sure this question makes much sense?
For today, the Vicar’s only option is to bless the lynchee.
What do you suggest they do tomorrow with a couple of night kill corpses? If they only bless the lynchee the Necromancer can raise the night kills without concern (unless the Witch Doctor got lucky as well)
I think the Vicar should take an open view across all the corpses.

Just so you guys know, I’m going to be gone until Tuesday evening. I’ll have internet access, but will be relatively busy. I’ll do my best to check in once a RL day, but I can’t promise anything. After that, I’m here for the duration.

Looking more carefully, I’ve just seen this. As my plan was to target people who choose not to post, I’m going to:
