MAFIA: The Game - Ideal for Beginners [Game in Progress]

Ok by me.

Yep ok with me

You want us to agree to a plan that you wont share details and admit to posting less than honest questions?

Fine by me.

Day seems to be over already anyway.

I suppose that’s about the size of it. But actually right now I am only interested if players think it fair or not to tweek the voting for maximum information,** for town**, from the results of the tweeked vote— when the parties being voted upon are our leading suspects.

Though I can understand reluctance to support an idea from a person who can’t even spell “tweak” right…

OK by me.

Sorry for not participating more this past weekend. I was traveling. Also, I’ve been working under the assumption that I’ll be mauled tonight, so I haven’t been all that engaged. However, in the off chance that I make it, I’ll try to investigate someone. I’m open to suggestions. If you want to vote for me to investigate someone, have at it. I might not follow anyone’s suggestions, but I’ll take them under consideration.

Bayard - does your spreadsheet have any other interesting datapoints aside from what you’ve told us about Jsexton?

Let me take another look in a few minutes. I’ve been meaning to look at one other angle. I should be able to get to it before the Day ends…

Given my terrible punctuation and lack of diligence in spell checking and use of painful run on sentences which may not or may or might never get to the point, possibly , I wouldn’t hold a spelling error against the idea;)
I would say if it involves telling people which way to vote, then it won’t be fun and will suffer from the herding cats problem. Like the original plan, it would be better if someone just ran a Monte Carlo simulation and let us know the results of several thousand runs, and the rest of us can play the game.

No problem.

This is fine by me, btw.

Busy weekend - didn’t have much of a chance to ponder the stuff discussed over the last couple days. Not that there’s all that much from the weekend, but I’m wondering about the point of Biotop’s latest plan.

Since we’re coming up on end of day, I wanted to quickly update this. I don’t really have much else to add. I looked at whether anything jumped out at me as far as who JSexton supported, but I couldn’t come up with a coherent theory on that. He didn’t really come out with unambiguous support for many players, and I don’t recall anyone really backing him up that strongly either. So, as least as far as my notes take me, I think looking at the players who didn’t interact much with him might be the best bet.

Alrighty. Thank you for your se[e]rvice.

Sniff.

This is kind of like the thumbs up from the Terminator.

DUSK, DAY THREE

*O! The weeping!

O! The humanity!

O! The wailing and rending of garments!

JSexton was lynched, of course, and he went to his end silently, leading many to feel their suspicions had been well-founded. Imagine, then, their collective shock and horror when they tossed his cabin and found no evidence whatsoever that he had been anything other than a garden variety blacksmith. With a collection of ceramic unicorns. And two little kitties that depended on their now deceased owner for warmth and protection. That’s right, you just orphaned two helpless kittens, and all to lynch an innocent Townie!

Nah, I’m just kidding. That guy was totally a Werewolf.*

JSexton, who was Werewolf #3, has been lynched.

Night Three begins here, and will end at noon EST on Wednesday, August 12, unless the Wolves and Seer would collectively like it to go a bit faster given the dragginess of Day Three.

That’s right, wolves. Post here if you’d like it to end sooner

OK by me.

Just raise a paw and we will assist you momentarily.

Well, it’s no surprise, and certainly no credit to Town’s deductive abilities, but it sure is nice to have a happy ending to the Day for a change! Here’s hoping it starts a trend!
