Of course, it’s quite possible you are both Scum trying to distance yourselves from each other. Knowing full well that you both hold the power to “reasonably” break a tie, if still needed.

Yeah, if he’s Town and wants choie lynched more. Maybe she’ll get some votes, and he still has tme to come back and vote for you if he can’t get his first choice lynched. Seems quite reasonable to me.
Why are you expecting him to vote immediately for his second choice when there’s still time left in the Day?

his very close second choice, almost first choice; and as I said, it makes more sense for him to break the tie now and come back to check on the choie votes before EOD rather than the other way around - unless he has some ulterior motive not to break the tie.
And if Mahaloth and Silver Jan are both scum, then he may not have mentioned her because he did not want to draw attention to her. And if he did vote to break the tie, then he would either have to bus a scum buddy or make a vote that would draw suspicion to them both.
So, even if Mahaloth is scum, it is not a given that you or Silver Jan are Town.

Mahaloth has been voting for me since Day 3, he obviously finds me scummiest (or says he does, if he’s Scum). Why on earth would he switch when (when he was last in the thread) there was a definite nonzero chance that others would vote for me and not just tie with you/Silver Jan, but supercede the two of you. It’s a perfectly reasonable thing to do if he’s Town and genuinely thinks I’m not. Also, everyone and their dog was beating up on me this AM, the Town’s most esteemed doctor septimus voted against me, so he could certainly have thought that my number was up. Fuck, it still could be. All it takes is you switching your vote (which it frankly wouldn’t surprise me if you did) and one more scum to add to the pot (I’m thinking Scathach the mostly likely to join in) and Bob’s your Uncle, I’m swinging at the end of a gibbet.
As to why I’m defending him… am I defending him? It’s called being reasonable and trying to see all the sides of an issue, even when it’s promulgated by someone who mistrusts me. That’s called being Pro-Town. Look into it, because so far you’ve done almost nothing Pro-Town throughout the whole flippin’ game.
I have nothing to gain and everything to lose if people buy Mahaloth’s crusade against me. But I want to be fair to him, just as I was toward Silver Jan and I’m pretty sure even you at one point, though right now I’m ready to drop the hammer on you mighty quick.
Why on earth is it peculiar to want someone who’s voting against me to be scum? Call me crazy, but I prefer there to be an ulterior, nefarious, disingenuous reason for someone voting against me, rather than a Townie. I don’t like my teammates to think ill of me, is that really unusual?

Oh gosh, I hate being the lynch leader so late in the day! I have reason to believe that choie is the SK. Everyone must have noticed that there was only one NK the night that guiri died and I believe that happened because I blocked choie, yes, this is a claim. If you look back over her posts she was rather adamant that there wasn’t a Vig, she kept wanting Septimus to protect someone else other than himself, she doesn’t think that** Precam **could be the Vig. On night 1 I blocked Svejk, just because of his random vote for me and on N2 I blocked Special Ed because of his new playing style.
I no longer think there is a Vig and I am pretty sure** choie** is the SK, unless she is the Vig and not the SK.
