Moments after the tragedy that befell the splattered Pleonast, several of the townfolk helped lift the injured FlyingCowOfDoom and carry him into a clean room in one of the temple’s wings. Among those who helped carry him was, the short, stout, bald-headed Pygmy Rugger. He may have been one of the village’s oldest members and not have looked like much, but he was a HOS indeed. It was there that he was laid to rest the remainder of the Day.
As the other men left the room, Pygmy Rugger followed suit, muttering under his breath. “Wait!”, cried the injured bovine, “I heard that!” Quickly, the men rushed back into the room, unsure what exactly he had heard, while the flummoxed Pygmy Rugger slowly tried to step back out of the room. “It was him,” he said, pointing toward the door through which Pygmy Rugger had just escaped, “I heard him mutter something about being a Cultist!”
The men pursued him but, due to his short stature, and advanced age, they had little difficulty quickly closing the gap. That is, they were, until the paranoid Pygmy Rugger entered the main chapel and, looking over his shoulder to determine how far behind him the men were, fell right into the crater smacking his head hard against the crown of the crater, knocking him unconscious.
He awoke just as his body was being bound tightly to the very post where zuma [Ver. 2] had been burned the previous Day. The stench of burnt flesh filled his nostrils, as the kindling beneath him was lit. He muttered only seeming non-sense as his life was quickly extinguished in the firey blaze.
Pygmy Rugger, a Cultist, has been burned at the stake.
The Night will end at 5:45 PM EDT on Saturday or when all night instructions are received.
