MAGA women and their hair extensions

The right is known for supporting gender affirming procedures and routinely undertakes them.

But only for the gender assigned at birth. Genitalia is destiny, after all. /s

This article does not mention hair extensions but gets to the larger question of the MAGA-style:

Haha, yeah, I feel like I’ve seen that a lot. And for ladies, I’d say long, wavy tresses, very full lips, sheath dresses that are fitted, but professional, very defined brows.

The hair is definitely bouncy. What you’re describing is very much what we wanted to look at in our episode. There’s a very noticeable, artificial, confounding look that many people in Trump’s immediate orbit seem to have.

I know two ladies with hair down to their waist and they both say they can’t be bothered. That’s not who we’re talking about, so you’re good :slightly_smiling_face:

I’d say it’s pretty obvious if one has more than a passing interest in such things. For one thing, having hair that long and thick in one’s 50s seems pretty rare in general. What are the odds that numerous women in close association would just happen to? To me they’re obvious, and the fact that so called politicians are clamoring to look like young hot things at work tells us about their priorities.

I’ve not seen any of those; are people saying she has extensions? I think her hair looks natural and she seems intelligent and self-confident enough not to jump on the trend train.

I got a bit of smack on the snoot for expressing that I was surprised at Pete Kegsbreath’s wife’s appearance. I meant that I couldn’t believe that the douchiest dude wouldn’t have the tackiest, MAGA to the max style. I do think negative comments about women’s appearance is more scorned than those about men.

That’s one good way to put it. Another is that to them, looking “hot” ( :face_vomiting:) is priority one. Case in point, Kristy Noem made up like she’s doing a photoshoot for Maxim while visiting a prison.

When did Attorney General Pam Bondi

start morphing into Anya Taylor- Joy

It’s as if, subconsciously, they’re trying to look like a certain type of male’s ideal, and that ideal is a blow-up doll.

This is me too, my hair is almost down to my butt and I keep trying to convince myself to go get it cut but I really haaaaaate going to the hair salon so I keep putting it off, week after week. Also straight, silver, always in a ponytail or braid hair.

To be clear, I don’t think Any Taylor-Joy or Pam B look like a blowup dolls. Just that ATJ is a 29 year old actress, whom we mostly see heavily made up for a role. That a 59 year old PB is going for the same look while acting as AG is embarrassing.

It is possible that given Trump’s penchant for central casting, part of this look for political women is to try to appeal to basically one dude. One might also harm animals.

If it helps motivate you consider donating your hair. It seems a little weird but is actually a really useful charity that helps women and children who have lost hair due to cancer get a wig (which I understand can be very expensive). You can Google some charities like Locks of Love that do this (there are others, just one example).

Just an idea. I imagine it would be difficult (emotionally) to get all that cut off.
