Mailing something overnight from Mexico to the US?

Hi - I’ll be at a resort in Ixtapa Mexico over Spring Break. I’ll need to send some CDs back to the US to arrive via overnight mail.

When I send packages within the US using overnight mail, I usually send them in an Express Mail overnight envelope for about $20. Does anyone know if I can mail things from Mexico and have them arrive in the US the next day, and if so what the approximate price would be to send a CD in a CD case?

Thanks in advance.

I’ve never mailed anything specifically from Mexico, but based on my experience with international mail to & from other countries I’d say you’re basically stuck with FedEx. This rate schedule implies that the price to send a FedEx envelope from Mexico to the U.S. (in Zone A) is $27.50 US. I’m not sure, however, that “International Priority” will absolutely, positively, get it there overnight; you might want to check the FedEx Rate Finder to be sure, which should give you estimated delivery times as well.

DHL is still around in Mexico, and there’s UPS, too.
