Tried a little experiment and clicked on “email notification” when I responded to one thread. Turned out to be a popular thread. It’s been about a week, and the damn notifications keep pouring in. Argghhh!! Is there any way to cut them off?
Thanks in advance,
V.
I think an administrator needs to help you turn off this
“feature”. Try e-mailing an administrator (e.g. TubaDiva) and CC the moderator(s) of the forum in question.
That’s it exactly. Drop an email to the moderator(s) of the forum (copy me if you like) . . . give us a link to the post(s) in question. We’ll shut it off.
Sorry for your inconvenience.

who has selected that option ONCE.
Thanks much, but I think the problem has essentially resolved itself. Seems like the interest in the thread has died off today. If it gets bad again, I’ll drop Manny an email.
And Tuba, no apologies necessary - I tried an experiment, and couldn’t deal with the results.
A suggestion however; the reason I tried the experiment was that the Email Notification blurb doesn’t make clear whether email notification works with all threads on which you post, or just the ones you start. Maybe the language could be tightened up.
Thanks again,
Sua.
There is another way. Post another reply and deselect the email notification box.
