Making a message board for my community college. Unheard of?

I’m currently attending my second semster at my community college, and for the short time I’ve been here it’s been my opinion that people just aren’t socializing enough. I grew up watching shows where the college campus was a place for a game of frisbee, or for fooling around, so I was rather let down to find that my campus just has a few people gabbing away on their cell phone, and hurrying to their next class. So I decided to make a forum at ezboard for students to meet up and talk, and maybe get together in real life. I could even add an additional board for people to suggest classes, and warn people of professors. Why, I could even arrange for a game of frisbee.

And why not?

I belong to an online gaming clan, and in the last 2 years, we’ve grown close enough to pitch in and buy mics for each other when a member’s cheapass unreliable Logitech mic ceases to work, and can’t afford a new on. This December, we’re planning a get together for about 5 members. If a community can build itself out of scrath and grow together, surely I can get something going with my school.

The only thing holding me back is that I have no idea what to call the board. The name of the school is Brevard Community College, andf the only name I can come up with is BCC Underground, which is too retro and carrys a lame “too cool for school” vibe. Any ideas?

If I can get past that little probelm, I can make the board in half an hour, write the rules in perhaps half the time, and spend a little while printing out flyers and hanging them up at the bulliten boards at school.

Has anyone ever tried simething similiar? Any tips?
