Malady gone, instantaneously. When your body does good!

Many (25) years ago I was diagnosed with Grover’s Disease, and after a consultation with a dermatologist and prescribed cortisone tabs, the lesions went away, eventually.

About 4 years ago they returned. Now they weren’t itchy or otherwise annoying, except that they looked ugly and awful. I didn’t bother getting them diagnosed or treated this time, not that anyone was getting near my body to complain, but whatever…

Two nights ago I was having a shower and was surprised that the spots had diminished. By this morning, they had all gone, completely! WTF?

There ya go! I’m spotless

The ability of the human body to repair itself is just amazing! Glad to hear of your recovery!

I recently went through a bunch of symptoms that suggested either an intestinal blockage or colorectal cancer. For weeks. And then it suddenly cleared up, and at around the same time I got a letter with the result of my latest FIT (Fecal Immunochemical Test) which was negative. Yay!

I’m 69 and am gloomily awaiting the era of arthritis, because my mom was afflicted with it. I was sure I was getting it in my left hip, because it had become painful and difficult to lift my left leg to put on pants. But one day about a month ago it was suddenly much better and I realized I could get dressed without pain. Yay! I guess it was some kind of gristle injury, to which I am susceptible.

But, but…I thought leopards can’t change their spots?

Lucky you. That’s really amazing.

Hmmm? Do I dare hope?

And I thought Grover’s Disease was the inability to get a simple order right while waiting tables…

My childhood finger warts cleared up one day around age 20.

I had a series of migrane headaches in my 20s, a few in my 30s, and none for about 10 years.

I had a brown puffy thing about the size of a sunflower seed grow on my nose right up to the corner of my eye. After a little while, it started to peel up on the edges like a sticker drying out. I had a few beers one night and stuck a fingernail underneath it and ripped it off. Not a mark. Never came back.

Years later, got a little hard dark spot on the tip of my nose. Did the same thing. Left a tiny divot, but its gone. It’s now part of my “Bear Attack” story.

Over 20 years ago (I was in my 40s), I suddenly had issues with walking up hills and up stairs. It felt like I was walking in thigh-high water. When I would come upstairs from the basement with a laundry basket, I had to set the basket on each step as I came up. And I could not run! It was like I forgot how. I went to my GP, he watched me walking up and down stairs (I could go down stairs normally). He had me do some other things that I don’t recall anymore. He was worried about MS. Apparently its more common in women in cold climates. So he sent me off to get an MRI of my brain. Of course I had to wait days for results. Days and nights of worrying. MS is an autoimmune disease. The immune system attacks the protective covering around nerve fibers.

When I went to the neurologist to get the results he showed me the pictures of my brain. He pointed out small white spots here and there. He said it wasn’t MS but didn’t give me any other info! I was so relieved that I didn’t ask! I went back to my GP after he was able to look at the MRI. He told me that sometimes your body does things we can’t explain. He said that he was pretty certain that my body would heal itself in due time. Sure enough, in about a month all of my symptoms were gone. I felt completely normal and have ever since!

I still thank God that it wasn’t MS. I would probably be dead by now or in such a state that I wished I was dead!
