For what reason do you suppose he’s mentioning that stuff about parents exposing their kids to the animals and not bothering to name them, except to counter the notion (mentioned by me) that parents have a protective instinct?

As a practical matter, any man involved in any physical altercation with a woman is going to be presumed to be the aggressor, and it will take lot to convince security and the police otherwise.

Maybe in the past this was true, but I know of couple of “domestic” situations where the police were called and arrested the aggressor, who was female. The male may have been verbally abusive and defending himself, but his spouse was kicking, clawing, biting.

My understanding is now SOP is to arrest BOTH their asses, barring some pretty obvious evidence that the guy was the aggressor.
