Man, I love this time of year!

The long days
The girls (young women) anxious to wear as little as possible
Change
The smells
Animals seducing mates (birdsong)
Baseball, which clears the streets
Green, green, green
Wildflowers
Sneezing
Ripe tomatoes
And all the rest of it

Peace,
mangeorge

the smell of barbecue on the breeze
sleeping with the windows open
the first ice-cream or popsicles (grown up, pure fruit, but still… basically a popsicle!) in the freezer
the smell of freshly cut grass
the scent of sunscreen (reminds me of carefree summers before Life and Work)

My little seedlings popping up
My bulbs growing up

Who needs kids I have flowers!

What are you guys talking about?

Oh! It’s spring. Didn’t notice.

The big block party being held across the street today (I got a big red balloon and played street hockey with the little kids)

The warm, sunny evenings of sitting outside in the grass, watching the sunset, and hearing the wind in the trees

The barbecues

The sandals!

The floppy hats and the bathing suits

The beaches are calling…

Pay no attention to Mr (i assume) weather never changes, San Diego living, Mission Beach going in December fetus.
No, better yet, pity the guy.

Any other year, I would agree with you.

But this year, after six months of non-stop rain (take that, Noah!), we had about 20 minutes of spring and moved straight to 90 degree days. My eyes and throat are both miserable from allergies (this from the guy who *never *has allergy problems), the Kings are out of the playoffs, and the Giants are in the cellar.

Is it October yet?

 Sorry!
I reccommend you spend a weekend in (at) Bodega Bay. Or Seattle.
