I’m so fraking glad i did not watch this show when it was on, this cliffhangers are brutal! pops in next DVD.
You’re telling US about brutal cliffhangers? How about forcing yourself to wait a week before popping in that next DVD, pal? THEN maybe you can tell us about brutal. 
And it’s not made any better by the fact that, of the two two-part episodes in the first season, both are split across discs. And I’ve kept them staggered on my queue so I don’t accidentally get discs out of order, so it was more like three or four weeks to get the next one.
Awww hell to the NO, its already bad enough having to wait a couple days for netflix.
Try waiting 8+ months!
Heh heh. I just did this last month–watched the whole frakking thing from beginning to where the season 4.0 set leaves off within a few weeks, with zero previous knowledge of the show.
Now where the frak is that frakking season 4.5 DVD???

Not that this helps you any now but there was a season 4 marathon yesterday, i made sure to tivo everything.
Somehow, I didn’t even hear about the show until I read two articles in the same week in The New Yorker and The New York Times during the second half of season two. I put every episode available on my iPod and watched them in less than a week. Once I was caught up it was torture waiting every week for new episodes. I envy those who get to watch the entire series for the first time on DVD!
