Since you’re already pitching Ivo, why not have the JLA fight color-coded robots copying our heroes’ abilities? See that red-and-gold one rocketing around like some kind of iron man? See the hulking green one who hits as hard as Superman? See the one decked out like the American flag while moving like Batman?
See them all get curbstomped by the Justice League, who are on their way to the real fight?
What I want to know is will they avoid Superman’s more dickish behavior.
I just can’t see a Justice League movie. I would, however, be happy with a World’s Finest movie.
Yeah, Justice League would beat the snot out of the Avengers. No argument there.
But then again, lack of power isn’t why DC characters are loved so much less than Marvel ones…
And that’s exactly why I like him. He’s different from everyone else. I identify with him because he’s who I wish I was instead of him actually being me.
In most fiction, a character like Superman winds up learning that he can’t really be idealistic. Either his ideas fail or he does. The ideals either hurt people, or the character is unable to live up to his ideals. It’s nice to see neither one happening.
