Totally cool trick to do using dill pickles.
Stick an inch metal rod into either end, to each attatch some insulated mains wire.Run both wires into a double pole switch, wire the switch to a mains plug, plug into outlet, switch on and gasp in amazement.
Really cool but make sure you choose a large pickle as smaller ones have a habit of exploding.

Okay, I don’t like to complain or anything or start problems or troubles but I have mentioned the man pickles to some people and we were going to look at them tonight, and so I go to this thread and click on the link to the man pickle page and am so very very very sad to see that I cannot get them, there is an error message. Where, oh where, have the man pickles gone?
We were all very sad, especially my Mom and yes indeedy I certainly do need to get a life but it’s the little things that can make you sublimely happy or terribly sad and there were four little things that made me sad, namely, the missing man pickles.
