What do you call a guy in your world who says “spic”, “wet-back” or even “sand-nigger”? I realize that Middle-Eastern or Mexican are not races, but they are populated by non-whites. I just hate that people making disparaging comments on the Middle-East as a whole get a free pass because they are the enemy dejour. We’ve got plenty men here who kill their wives in horrible ways, no one has a monopoly on that.

There’s plenty of threads I don’t care about, but it never crossed my mind to be a douchenozzle and shit in them. I actually take less effort and ignore them, which not only takes less of my time, but I’m also not being an utter cunt.
Hmmmm…did you read the quote I posted from Giraffe? He thought it a good idea to take an active role in denouncing these kinds of threads. I tend to agree.
I’m with lowbrass and Giraffe on this one. I don’t particularly care one way or the other about most of these threads, because once you read the OP, you’ve read pretty much everything the thread has to offer. But thanks to lissener’s initative, there’s actually something interesting going on in here. People can read about the horror story du jour, then pick a side in the “is lissener a dick or is this thread stupid” tussle and get into an honest-to-God argument about something in a thread that otherwise would be a dreary collection of me-too posts.
