I don’t like fish food. The only good part of fish from the chippie is the batter and some of the mushy bits underneath. The actual fish meat is tasteless. As with all fish I have eaten… except Manx kippers. I bloody love them. Juicy, full of flavour, crunchy, very moreish. They have to be the Deverau brand. Other brands don’t match up (unless there’s a brand I am unaware of)
I might start buying them on the way to work as they can be microwaved. Today they were sold out.
Only trouble is they cause a right stink once cooked.

I’ve never had kippers. But though I’m not a huge fan of fishy fish, I DO love me some smoked salmon; I imagine it’s in the same range of flavors. Hey Lob, wanna do a trade? I’m in Seattle, the world capital of salmon.
