I played in a $20 tounament at bodog that ended up with 191 players. I took 3rd place and won $454.58!!

What’d you bust out on? (I’m guessing you just got shortstacked…but do tell)
Funny thing is I don’t remember any hands of note.
I went out on pocket three’s. I was the small stack but not particularly short, about 60,000 the other two had about 110,000. I was the Big Blind and the small blind raised in front of me so I either fold or have to pretty much re-raise I think. I re-raise all-in and he calls…with KTd. The flop comes up ddd and I am done. Oh well.
That’s awesome, GO! Sounds like Bodog has lots more action than PT. Maybe I should lurk over there or try out some nominal tournaments…can you use credit cards or just the usual paypal type accounts? Would you consider an exchange of cash on Bodog for an exchange of cash on PT? You can tell me your answer later if you want.
Bodog does have a lot more action than PT. The sit-n-go action is very active, which I like a lot. Well at bodog you can do direct deposits from your checking account, which is nice. I am not really sure how to exchange cash at bodog but if it is possible I would have no problem with it. Bodog also has a deposit bonus of $50, if you deposit $50. I should check to see if there is a referrel bonus I can get.
Couple of other things I like baout bodog:
- Four-color decks
- Slowed down all-ins
- Personalized images
- Stats
- Hand histories that at least show your opponents cards if they show
- Generally friendly atmosphere
I haven’t tried Bodog, but I have run into other recommendations for it. One comes from the Wizard for the Bodog Casino, so since they’re run by the same company it’d stand to reason that he’d recommend the poker as well. Apparently the customer service is great.
For example, I would transfer $50 to your PT account from my PT account and then you would transfer $50 from your Bodog account into my Bodog account (once I get around to setting it up). Essentially, this means that you would end up with $50 less in your Bodog account and $50 more in your PT account, which right now, may not be in your best interest since you prefer Bodog…but, I wanted to ask anyways.
But since you mentioned the $50 bonus for the $50 deposit, I just might just look into the auto check deposit instead. Let me know if you can get a referral bonus and I’ll hook you up with it.
