Ok, I’m back (left both kneecaps at Disneyland)…I see congrats are in order to Capn for laying a smackdown on the contenders. I’ll be back for the role of SPOILER for the last game of the quarter. I will not go quietly this Thursday.
I had to run down to the drugstore for some “Flaming Red” hair dye. Over the last couple of weeks, I not only lost the $35, but another $20 on top of that. :o
Those are the hand histories I need to study.
Actually, I think the biggest problem is my table selection. Pot raises mean nothing to people who have 250 times the big blind sitting in front of them.
I did manage a fifth-place finish in a 5TT, though.

Well guys, looks like I am out for tomorrow night. I feel kinda guilty, since I am the leader and it will make it very hard for someone to catch me. But I did participate in 8 this quarter so I guess I earned it.

That was a nice heads up match at the end. I was sweating a few hands as I was trying to raise 3x the big blind on both real hands and steals. When Nesta called it was only my steal attempts most of the time. I wish PT had hand histories via e-mail, because I’d like to review them and post a few here.

It was an interesting night. Seemed like somebody sucked out on every hand. And in the heads-up, Otto was way down at one point and put on a great rally to come back.
Nanook, if it’s any consolation, I went out in seventh place and the fatal blow was when Otto made trip jacks on the river.
The new quarter can’t get here soon enough for me. This last one was brutal.

Hey, I’m out for tonight. I’ve got…a date? Can that be right? Yep, it seems to be correct. With a real woman too, not one of them vinyl ones.
Let’s not disparage the vinyl type, though connoisseurs do prefer the real ones.
So many plays-on-words leap to mind here, involving dating, poker, and the phrase “getting lucky,” but I’m far too classy to mention any of them.
