I checked my hand history. Injured, maimed and crippled by three river suckouts before being annihilated by nesta’s quad Q’s.
Ouch.
Either that or I just plain sucked.
I was wondering about something similar. How long do I play this before I figure out if I’m any good at it?
UDPATE: For those of you who were sweetly thinking about dropping by PartyPoker to lend moral support – I think I said in chat last night that the tourney starts at 11pm eastern. It’s actually 10pm. Damn 24-hour clocks! How’s somebody as freaked as me supposed to do math properly?
RA, I’ve been playing a fair bit for the past 8 months and I still don’t know whether I’m any good at it. I suspect I could stand to get a whole lot better.
Kind of a tough question. You can play well and still lose; you can suck and still win. And playing online doesn’t really offer the opportunity to work on observing the other players and picking up tells. That’s an important part of being a “good” player.
So to answer your question I have no idea.
