Marching Band prohibited from playing "Louie Louie"

Once. In 1982.

Louie, Louie leads to singing
Singing leads to dancing
Dancing leads to… suffering.

Not if you do it right.
Sorry. I’m going to be gone for the weekend, so I had to respond to my own joke, just so I can see it before it gets dropped to page 5.

Thank Og, that song is so tired.

I believe it about the FBI. Here’s a link to a story in which it took the FBI 18 months to find 12 hookers in New Orleans. I venture to guess that even without the extensive law enforcement training provided at the FBI I could find a prostitute in New Orleans more efficiently than that. An average of one every six weeks? Pitiful.

That would be one hell of a halftime show:)

As a Rice University alum, I can attest to the fact that the Rice MOB indeed concludes every half-time show with Louie, Louie as they head off the field. It’s been their signature song for at least twenty years.

Well, odds are, the shool is trying to prevent a terrible thing from happening again:
After the Marching band, playing the evil Louie Louie, stomped the villain:

Michael Burns - Oh Frank! It’s horrible, horrible…

Lt. Frank Drebin – There, there…

Michael Burns - My father died the same way! –

I guess the principal thinks the *Naked gun * movies are documentaries.

Yeah this is what people do where I live. I live in St. Joseph which is Benton Harbor’s twin city. A large majority of people are like this around here. My dad was principal at a Benton Harbor school for a while and I learned first had that with a few exceptions the whole administration is like this.
Isn’t Michigan wonderful.

I feel shortchanged. I don’t have two Louie Louie albums, just one: “The Best Of” from Rhino. Includes the MOB, the original Richard Berry, the original Kingsmen, the Sandpipers version and the “Hallelouie Chorus” by The Impossibles. Good Stuff.

Here’s a similar compilation, 24 versions on a CD. Guaranteed to rot young minds, and I mean that in a good way.
