I’m saying that the situation in Iraq is fucked up. Seeing things in black and white isn’t going to benefit anyone. Especially the ordinary Iraqi folks who are being shat on by both sides. Did you miss the bit where I called her killers homicadal maniacs? 
I don’t fucking believe this, all I’ve done is post the fact that a british Iraqi woman has been executed by Islamic militants, and then it gets wrapped around to make it look like I somehow wanted to discredit Islam even further, even though she is a Muslim!
How about showing some sympathy for the woman, rather than flaming me futher, theres other threads to do that.

Think about this. War time. Time of war. A time when soldiers are at war. War when a military is out to kill the enemy. War where it’s kill or be killed in instances. War where all the training each soldier is trained to do comes into play. War. Taking of life. A US soldier facing an enemy that doesn’t give a shit about the Geneva Convention “rules”. An enemy that uses a house of worship to garner worldwide sympathy. An enemy that uses women and children as shields.
War. Fought against an enemy that dares not wear a uniform for fear of the eventual pimp-slap that shall fall upon them. War. The kind fought from behind a ski-mask during a taped decapitation of a humanitarian worker, after the taped pleading for his or her life is shown on Al-Jazeera.
This war, for better or worse, will get much more intense. Just like Japan and Germany, the “collateral damage” will be justified by a victory.
I would never hope for the death of a father or mother, much less a child, but sometimes it’s neccessary. I’d apologize, but I believe it’s part of a battle. They’re shooting at us, too.

Well, I agree the people who murdered her are butchers, unworthy of respect or pity. I’m hoping that their act of killing her backfires throughout the country. While killing Americans in their country riles up Americans, everyday Iraqis have enough on their mind just trying to survive. Margaret Hassan has spent 30 years helping Iraqis.
