Mark Your Calendars: NYC MegaDopefest Weekend IV – January 16-19, 2004

So do I. BTW, I’d be getting back from the Key West area with the family. We’ll see when we can schedule the trip.

I am SO there!

Well, I haven’t looked at my calendar yet, but baring any other commitments, which I don’t think I have, I am SO there!

Whee! New York with you stinky people! YAY!

Count the GeoBills in. As usual.

::sigh:: If you really must spend your B-day with these interweb message board geeks, then I suppose sure, I’ll go.

I might be able to. Classes will have started by then, but I’ll see what I can manage… this time I will actually be able to get in the bars! Whoot!

Might as well mark me down as a “maybe”. I don’t have any specific plans to be east in January but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if I happened to be around. Also, I can’t read the thread without replying and can’t bear to see myself on the “no in stone” list.

I’ve been to the last three and I intend to be at this one assuming that:

*I have the money necessary
*I cadge a place to crash from someone
*I can carpool in some way
*Monsters don’t eat my head

I will almost assuredly be going without accompaniment this year. Next year. When it happens. Assuming I can make it. Yarrrrrrr!!!

Definitely on Sunday. I plan to hit NYC every Sunday in 2004!

As this is after our accounting year ends, I may be able to make this.

I was really bummed when I would see those NY mega dope fest threads. I couldn’t even bring myself to read them because I knew that because of work I couldn’t attend. And now, dates that I can work with. Yippppeeee!!

My calendar is marked.

If you carpool with us, there is no guarantee that you won’t have a squid eat your head. Fair warning.

That would be much funnier if I had remembered to post the link. Dammit.

Yes, but it’s my squid, so there’s that…

I will certainly try to make it on Sat. or Sun.—how’s about a nice historical walking tour one of those mornings? Anyone kmow any good tour companies?

We have a family thing sometime in January. If there’s no conflict, we’ll be at the 'fest.

Damn, I thought I had already posted to this thread. In any case, jeremy evil and I will endeavor to be there, driving down with CuriousCanuck (see above). A couple of months back a certain NYC Doper told me Jer and I would be welcome to stay at his place…

As usual, there will be questions as to where we will stay during the nights, but you can certainly count us on being there.

This Fest is far too fun to miss.

Well, howd’yalikethat: Transit Museum Grand Reopening, September 16 2003.

Oxy, you should invest in a kilt.

Yeah, that’s almost Spring of 2003. Zoltarb has been passing by the entrance once a week this whole summer wondering why it hasn’t opened yet.

You keep your Manhattan-ass over on your side of the bridge and let the real Brooklynites take care of buisness over here.

FTR, I am not a real Brooklynite. Born and raised in The Boogie Down and kidnapped by my then future husband. Zoltarb was born in Coney Island Hospital (much to my consternation. I had visions of clown doctors and roller coaster stirrups), how more Brooklyn can you get?
