I have to disagree with the idea that men liking porn has anything to do with emotions. Even people with mental disorders that prevent them from having emotional relationships (Asbergers, Schitzo-effective PD, etc.) still like sex and porn. And don’t forget the BBC studies showing that “falling in love” is more of a physical response than an emotional one…

That’s not exactly the argument that’s being offered. We are, after all, talking specifically about that subset of men who are predisposed to rape. Most men are not rapists. No amount of not getting laid is going to turn the average man into a rapist. Of those who will rape, the reasons why they attack women are not going to be uniform. Certainly, for some uncertain percentage of them, the urge to commit sexual violence is present regardless of other possible outlets. But it does not seem at all exceptional to me to suggest that some portion of potential rapists do so because their sex drive is frustrated by a lack of outlets, and so they create one without regard to the willingness of the other person. If pornography provides an outlet, then it seems self-evident that it will reduce the incidence of rape among that particular portion of the rape-inclined male population.
