Personally when I was a teenager after looking at porn I’d find the nearest girl and try the old “you have such an ancient soul” line on her. If that didn’t work to get down her pants well then I’d just have to rape her. I can hardly be blamed for it, being a troglodite male and all it’s hardwired into my nature.

You seem to think women are nothing more than objects of male lust, incapable of making their own decisions or forming reasonable evaluations of the people around them. At the same time, you seem to think that men are nothing more than possessed demons, incapable of making their own decisions or speaking honestly to the people around them.
You have a strange, cartoonish notion of how humans interact. Don’t you think that teenage girls are every bit as capable of making decisions as are teenage boys?
As for it being okay because it’s not my daughter–well, uh, yeah. How I interact with my wife and how I interact with my daughter are very different, too, and it’s okay because my wife isn’t my daughter. Similarly, it’s okay with my wife to interact with me the way she does because I’m not her son.
When my daughter is old enough to have a romantic/sexual relationship, I very much hope she’ll be wise and strong and safe about it, and I’ll try to prepare her as much as I can. Freaking out about the fact that she’ll grow up isn’t really on my agenda.
Edit: also, does it occur to you that some of the men you’re throwing your standard pseudofeminist insults at might not be into women at all? I mean, not that the insults are anything but idiotic and offensive when directed at straight men, but still.
Would it be too much to ask for lurking guest and ivn1188 (from this thread) to duke it out in a pit thread? Or, more realistically, fall in love and run away together? Assuming they’re not the same person.
All I want to say is I am not just my father’s daughter! I am my own me, with my own thoughts.
And FTR, my father did tell me about scummy males. He also told me - two years after I started having sex, so it was moot - about using condoms. And my father was one of the strictest, most backwards men out there, and he still managed to sputter it out. I assume fathers who understand their girls are growing up manage to say a little more to their daughters.
FWIW, although I know you’re not supporting your father’s backwards ideas, the idea that all teenage boys are scum is just as obnoxiously sexist, offensive, and incorrect as the idea that teenage girls are gullible blushing maidens interested only in finding a soulmate. Both teenage girls and teenage boys are able to think for themselves, and both groups comprise distinct individuals.
