Are you fully in the cult of Tali yet? or do we need to convince you more
Yes. She wrote me an email after that she became Spectre.
Uh, I love Tali. She is one of my core members. I still don’t have her in this game, though. Haven’t even seen her yet. I presume the game will force me to meet her?
If a grunt down in the Purgatory bar asks you, “Who’s like us?”, take the Renegade interrupt.
By the way, if you romanced Jacob in ME2, he’s the only squad member in the entire trilogy who cheats on you by the time of ME3. It’s rather unfortunate, given that he’s the token black guy.
Yes, once you get to that part of the main story.
I usually go full Paragon (e.g., I never punch that reporter), but those are most of the Renegade interrupts that I always do. Who wouldn’t want to headbutt a krogan?
Yep. Me too.
I played a little today and I:
- fought a battle in the Citadel
- actually reflex-pushed the Renegade button and killed Udina
- visited Thane on his deathbed after he saved us from that new guy they just introduced
Depending on your decisions up to that point, even including whether you romanced Ashley and cheated on her in ME2, the game may make it necessary for you to kill her. (Note: The Virmire Survivor is placed in the Spectre position, and in charge of escorting the Council to safety, whichever one survives Virmire.)
I assume since you’re going full Paragon, Kolyat was there with Thane at the end? What did you think of their last goodbye?
Yes, he was. It was great.
Shepard and Thane really brought Kolyat back from the brink, didn’t they? He was going to become an assassin, and instead, he might become a priest.
I have been happy with the way the two deaths I have experienced in ME3 were written. Mordin died, his last spoken words were awesome. When asked if he was sure he would do it, he said, “Of course. Otherwise, someone else might mess it up.”
Thane as well, who I did not use much in the last game, but he was very memorable. Loved that character. Died the right way.
I also thought Thane was pretty boring in ME 2 (although he has a bit more depth if you romance him) and more interesting in ME 3.
Now on to the quarians!
Actually, the exact quote is, “Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong,” which I’ve seen on T-shirts, and, memorably, on a license plate holder for a Marine veteran’s license plate that read “MORDIN”.
Thanks. It captures his arrogance while at the same time being a great final thing for him to say to someone as he goes to sacrifice himself.
I loved Thane as a character, but he will always have a place in my heart because he got me an A on project in class once.
We had to write a newspaper advertisement for a jewelry store and I used his choppy way of speaking when he was reliving memories as the way I wrote my ad.
My professor loved it.
I have a complaint. Why did the sidequest menu go away in this game? I tried to do almost all the quests, but it was at least nice to know which ones were main-story ones and which ones were sidequests. Or at least to split them up so I have separate lists.
Main-story quests have ‘Priority’ in the title if I’m not mistaken.
Is that what that means? It may seem obvious, but I am just dense. I know that some are labeled by the location or name of planet they are on. I guess you must be right.
