What is it, like, fucking mass-murder sweeps season or something?
I saw that. I don’t think Orlando has had a mass shooting since the one at the Orange County Courthouse umpty years ago.
Yeesh. Witnesses say the shooter was someone who hadn’t worked there in over a year. Talk about holding a grudge.
Well, we as a country gotta use all those stockpiled ammunitions before they spoil.
Daylight savings time ended. Book it.
Seriously, though. SAD makes me mildly sad. If you’re unhinged, it may just cause you to go off the deep end.
This is really getting pathetic. Is it only America that allows this to happen to it’s citizens?
Good old NRA with their “protect our 2nd Amendment rights” shit. What about my rights to be safe from assholes with guns?
Buy a gun, duh.
The more the murderrier.
There does seem to be more of it in Iraq.
I realize that there are people who believe that’s the answer. Somehow they believe old west style shootouts are the answer. I find that ludicrous.
Congratulations, you’ve just ensured that this thread will go on for at least 10 pages.
Can we take the gun debate to another thread, please?
Don’t tread on me.
Here’s the link:
What’s funny is the local news isn’t airing any of this stuff. ONE police officer was shot on Halloween, and they have talked non-stop about it on the news since. I’ve personally seen nothing on TV about the shooting in Texas, let alone this one.
Yeah, seriously.
On the, er, bright side, lots of people I didn’t think were particularly good friends are calling/texting me to make sure I’m okay (my office is about a mile and a half from the crime scene), and the gunman is apparently still on the loose.
It’s now being reported that two people are dead and six others injured. Still awful and tragic, but it’s better than eight dead.
This should be a serious thread but now I’m giggling like an idiot. The username/post combo isn’t helping either.
I haven’t seen such good shooting in Orlando since the Eastern Conference Finals.
Are you guys in lockdown? I’m off Kirkman and I-Drive, so I think we’re okay.
