Was watching MTC yesterday, and Laura Linney was doing the intro. As usual, she was in front of a solid red background. What struck my wife and me as odd was that at one point she strolled about 3-5 steps to her right - while gazing at the camera. Then after a few moments she strolled back.
I remember reading how the walking reporter is supposed to appeal to viewers, but I don’t see how that works if there is no change in the background.
Did this strike anyone else as odd?
