Laura Linney Fan

Me. The old guy. Fell in love with her after seeing her in “You Can Count On Me” and “Maze”.

Not only in love with her characters, but with her the woman, because something tells me that in order to play characters such as these, she must also have some of those traits.

I may have seen her in passing watching other films, and something may have triggered then, but not like when I saw the above-mentioned films.

Off to learn more about her.

Thanks

Love her. Like you said, something about her acting convinces me that she is awesome in real life. Enjoying her in The Big C right now.

She seems to have no problem getting her kit off in a movie, so she’s aces with me.

I first noticed her in Primal Fear and have had a girl crush on her ever since. She was wonderful as Abigail Adams. In interviews she is genuine, down-to-earth and VERY smart.

I first became aware of her when she played Mary Ann in Tales of the City and More Tales of the City. I always liked her…she seems very genuine, whether playing a character or being interviewed.

That’s where I discovered her too. I loved her in The Truman Show and You Can Count on Me and so by the time Love, Actually came along I was well and truly hooked.

You all have good taste. I’ve been in lust with her since Congo. She was also kick-ass in Mothman Prophecies. Clearly, her talent transcends crappy movies!

Check out Breach

I used to work in a bookstore and had the pleasure of meeting her when she came in for something. She was the sweetest, most humble celebrity I’ve ever met. I was a fan before and an even bigger one after that!

It seems impossible for anyone to be perfect. Linney’s flaws, however, are so well-hidden they might as well not exist.

Well, I guess it would’ve been nice if she’d been naked in the Love, Actually .

You know, I’ve been singing Please, Can I keep It? in my head all morning, from the Philadelphia Chickens album. Laura Linney sings it. She’s great. And the album is great as kid’s music that doesn’t make you want to lobotomize yourself after the 124314th time it’s played.

She was. Sort of. For like 0.00001 seconds.

You’re hallucinating again. She and the German were about to get it on when her brother called; she had only doffed her blouse.

I’m going to be seeing her on Broadway in a couple weeks in Time Stands Still. I saw it Off-Broadway last year and she was amazing.
