Did he ask yesterday?
Looks like he asked for a group pardon for a bunch of people so he could kind of just swim away amidst a school.
From the Times article:
… the obvious. I mean, who would think that Gaetz wouldn’t go to Trump for pardons?
No, no, I was just having trouble understanding him: “Pardon?”
Easy rationalization for the Trumpists: “We only asked for pardons because we knew the vindictive Marxist cancel-culturing left would go after the people who loved America most the moment they had the power to do so.”
Specifically, a high school.
Well, to the True Believers Trump is the One True President and that asshole currently occupying the White House is merely a usurper soon to be deposed.
It’s War of the Roses American style.
Here’s more from CNN.
War of the Rose Garden
Melania struck the killing blow!
That’s why he’s so interested in the southern border- all those unaccompanied minors.
We all know how this is going to play out- he’s going to resign. Before this month is over. Whether or not he ever gets charged remains to be seen, I think more likely than not. If you’re a Republican and Billy Barr didn’t squelch an investigation into you, well that says a lot about your behavior.
But, but, spending more time with family, though, is a precious, precious thing.
Wait - does he have one?
TLTG too lazy to google
You should google it - it’s worth a thread of its own.
You lefties don’t understand the precious love between a sugar daddy and his sugar babies.
I’ll be really happy if this brings heat on Seeking Arrangements and similar websites. When I’m on dating sites, it really annoys me when someone reaches out but instead of dating wants a SD/SB relationship or “Mutually Beneficial” relationship or diverts to Seeking Arrangements or something like that. In my view, SD/SB is sex work. Okay, I’m an advocate on sex work being legalized, but it doesn’t belong on dating sites. It’s not dating! It irritates me to the extent that I experience (perhaps unfair) glee when Seeking Arrangements gets criticized.
Only when it’s politically advantageous.
Last summer during a house debate over police reform, a black representative (D, natch) said, “You all are white males, you never lived in my shoes, and you do not know what it’s like to be an African American male.” Matt Gaetz took issue with this, saying, “Are you suggesting that none of us have nonwhite children?”
The rest of the exchange was whatever, but Gaetz took to the media the next day to announce that he in fact DID have a non-white child, his adopted son Nestor, who he had never declared as a dependent, to anyone, ever.
Naturally the internet had a field day with “Matt Gaetz made up an adoption story to cover for the fact that he has a live-in teen boyfriend” memes, but the truth is even more ridiculous. See, Nestor has parents in Cuba – they’re doing fine. Matt Gaetz dated Nestor’s sister and I guess took a liking to her little brother, inviting him to stay at his house while doing some high school program in Florida and I think even let him do an internship with him. This was actually quite nice of him. But then he got stupid and decided that “This kid who I helped out for a few months is actually my adopted son” would be a great gotchaya and made up the whole adoption angle to score political points. It’s bonkers.
What are the odds Matt doesn’t even know that adoption is a legal process rather than a fancy word for “this kid is like a son to me”?
He’s rich and could end up going to jail.
