There will be a Max Payne 3
Max Payne 3 will be released this winter, for 360, PS3 and PC
The story will be about a older a more world-weary and cynical Max,(:eek:)

The movie was Okay
I consider Max Payne one of the greatest accomplishments in story telling in a computer game, and hope the next game continues this
Anyone know if Max Payne was the first game with bullet time?(i.e. slow motion action scenes in action computer game)
Max Payne 2 is among the finest action games ever created with some of the most delightfully over the top dialogue written for a game.
However, there is a distinct lack of still living characters in that universe. It’s a bit of a gamble as to whether they can pull it off with an almost entirely new supporting cast. It also makes me curious which of the Max Payne 2 endings will be treated as canonical.
No, she didn’t She was wounded but clearly able to get out of the elevator on her own power, so her re-emergence alive was no shocker. IN the second,
She got so full of lead her grave’ll probably qualify as a Superfund site. If they bring her back after that, uh… she’s a bloody zombie. I think the only named character still alive is Deputy Chief Jim Bravura, who didn’t appear in the second game.
They’d better not screw this one up. And I hope they don’t model the world like it was in the movie… that would suck. The “Gognitty Storage” was a nice touch, but really it should be a sequal to the games, not to the movie.
