A while back, in the “Two Truths and a Lie” threads, I 'fessed up, among other things, to once having a fling with a woman some years my senior.
I didn’t mention the age details then, but as it happens I was nineteen, I think, and she was mid-forties. Let’s say forty-five. That’s a twenty-six year age difference. In the other direction, I’ve dated someone more than fifteen years my junior.
Anyone care to beat those stats, or shall I take home some sort of cradle robbing&robbed pervert trophy tonight? (I don’t even want to think about how such a trophy might look)
The oldest I’ve ever dated was probably 20 years my senior - I was 22, he was 42. The oldest I ever slept with was about 16 years my senior - I was 22, he was 38. (I really enjoyed being 22.)
Ah… well, if “slept with” is the criterion, let me revise my estimate downwards - I’ve slept with someone nine years my junior. Whew. Things are looking better already.
I dated a guy – my boss at the time – who was 16 1/2 years older than me (and we WERE May and December: my birthday is in May, and his is in December ;)).
Never dated/slept with anybody seriously younger than me, though. Hmmmm . . …
I once dated a woman who was 15 years older than me. On the other end, have never dated anyone more than 10 years younger than me (but I’m still a relatively young guy, so that is subject to change ).
My wife is thirteen years younger than me. That’s about the biggest age difference in all my relationships.
Gets hilarious when we talk about old movies, music and TV shows. After we saw the movie Wild Wild West with Will Smith, I commented that the TV show was much better. She was clueless about the old TV series! When I told her about the original Batman movie with Adam West and Burt Ward, she thought I was putting her on. She thought the first Batman movie was the one with Michael Keaton. It’s even funnier when we talk about music.
I had a relationship with a lady 6 years older than me and usually I like to find someone about 6 years younger. Now days, feeling like a dirty old man, I’m looking around hopefully for someone 10 to 20 years younger.
I know a lady who, when 49 was happily bedding a young man of 22 and wearing him out. (She looked good!) She liked the younger men because they weren’t as set in their ways as older men and – she said – they felt better. I met a girl of 24 who was seeing and bedding a man of 56 and said she liked older men because they were more mature and settled down and appreciated her more than younger men did. (I certainly would have appreciated her!)
As I’ve grown older, I’ve begun to think this May/December thing has merits.
OK, so far, it looks as if Missy is winning the older side of this race (cradle-robbed) with her thrity-four year age difference… whew.
On the other hand, I may be the board’s dirtiest old m… er, person, with my fifteen+ year age difference on the cradle robbing side. To be fair, we didn’t actually sleep together, but we may as well have. So if you remove the Clintonian distinction of “actual sex”, then someone needs to come along and take me off this hook.
When I was 18 I dated/slept with a man that was 30 - 12 years older than me. The youngest was 1 year 10 days younger. I was 17 and he was 16. He couldn’t kiss for shit… too slobbery! Yuck! Just last year I slept with another man 12 years older than me… I was 24 and he was 36. Awesome sex though. I prefer my men to be older because they seem to be more experienced. My current boyfriend is 3 years older than me and by far the best lover I’ve ever had!
