I think it was Paul’s insistence on humming “She Got Legs” while she was doing it that was the final straw.
I don’t see any evidence so far that he is manipulative. And as far as her marrying someone with his qualities “by mistake,” if I know that he didn’t want a career woman for a wife, and I have never met him, how did she miss this? It is well-known that he broke up with Jane Asher for not wanting to be a housewife, and it is also well-known that Linda WAS a housewife the entire 25-year span of their marriage. Did she think he was going to change his entire outlook on life at his age? I think it’s a pretty big mistake to either not get to know a potential spouse well enough to know something so basic about him, or to hope that you can change this quality once you are married. So, yes, I see this as at least being partly her fault.
Let’s see: she is not well liked by the public, she is known to be a liar, and she has an unsavoury past with some soft-are modelling pictures for a German sex manual.
I can see the conversation with the lawyers:
“We have to level the playing field. Anything you can think of we can use?”
“Well, there’s that time we had a fight over dinner and he broke a wineglass”.

Girlfriend’s got a rap sheet a mile long when it comes to making shit like this up. Apparently she was sued by a friend when she claimed that she and said friend were kidnapped by their pedophile swim coach. Only Heather wasn’t kidnapped-only her friend was.
And Paul not letting her use a bedpan, or helping her? Didn’t he personally take care of Linda when she was dying? Please.

She’s lying. Her claims are so easily refuted-the police have already said they have no records of the calls she claims to have made. She’s so full of shit.

If Paul really did deny her a bedpan, I don’t blame him. I wouldn’t want my spouse pissing in the bed when they could easily hobble to the loo on crutches. Keep crutches by the bed, if that’s too hard get a wheelchair - but don’t piss in the bed!
