Speaking of missed McDonald’s food items, I also liked their old chicken nuggets. The new ones are by far less gross (no hard bits and tumor-like things), but the old ones tasted better. Almost as if they had been fried in chicken soup.

I had an Asian Salad last night. It took about 5 minutes to get it after I ordered, and they forgot the almonds. It was edible at first, but pretty watery towards the bottom. A big salad, though…it was my whole dinner.

When I was in New Mexico some years ago, there was a McDonalds in a remote area near Artesia that had a bunch of German-themed foods – McBrats, Hot dogs served with cabbage, that sort of thing. No, I did not try any.
I went to a McDonalds in Athens (my tour group wanted to go there - ew) and they had gyros and calamari and Heineken. And you could smoke in it. It was 2 stories tall.
