Me and the kid went to see Monsters Inc today, as well as the next Star Wars Trailer.

Well, Monsters inc isnt as fun as Toy story, but it was good none the less. My 2 year old little girl likes it. The most amazing thing in the movie to me was the hair on the monsters. VERY realistic.

The Star Wars trailer didnt impress me, although it did start off with a black screen and the sound of Darth Vader breathing in his mask. Makes me wonder what happens to Anakin in this flick.

As some movie critics have noted, it’d be very hard for Monsters Inc. to surpass Toy Story 2, simply because it was able to build on the familiar characterizations of the characters from the first movie.

Still, IMO Pixar kicks major booty, and I can’t wait to see Monsters.

He and the princess get into a lovers’ spat, I hear.

Boo was sooo damned cute. Almost makes me want to go out and get some woman pregnant. Then I realize I’ll be better off just going to play with my nieces, They’re the same ager as Boo.

I was … disappointed with the Star Wars trailer. The first one was much better. And it had to live up to higher expectations. Basically all this one was was a series of flashes of various scenes. No myth building at all. Although some scenes were cool, but they flash by so fast it’s hard to remember them. So in the end I’m left with almost nothing! I’ll have to nab it somewhere and watch it slowly.

So does this mean the file I got of KaZaA a month ago called “Star Wars Episode II Trailer: NOT FAKE, I SWEAR THIS ISN’T FAKE” isn’t real?

Who’da thunk?

Just a quick tidbit about the Episode II trailer…

The one shown preceding Monsters, Inc. was a teaser trailer. The full trailer will be attached to Harry Potter, which is set for release on November 16.

Actually, if anyone is interested, I know one of the BIGGEST spoilers from Episode II-I found it on force.net

If anyone is interested, e-mail me. I warn you, however, it might spoil the picture for you. (Not for me, since I just really really really love Star Wars.)
