I really expected that the two top slots for the type of doctor were going to be split between what I think of as being the scariest two: The dentist and the proctologist. Oops.

I can’t give you a definitive answer. I think it comes down to what sort of answers you were expecting, when you posted the questions. Whatever you decide will be fine.

For myself, when I scored my own feuds I always figured grouping was something I did out of the kindness of my heart, not something that had to be done. (Excepting spelling variations, or different names for the same thing.)

I totally suck at my own games. I thought for sure “cold” would’ve gotten at least some votes. I read somewhere that one of the most common reasons for visiting a doctor is the common cold. (Despite the fact that they can do nothing for it.)

ETA: Also should’ve thought of pollen since I’ve been dealing with the pollen allergies myself this season.

I don’t know anybody who bothers visiting a doctor for a common cold. They just gulp a few OTC cold pills, and either go to bed or get back to regular life.

This is the thin line between a cold and “the flu.” Medically speaking, the flu is something few people get a year. But people still believe that a really bad cold is “the flu”, however 9 times out of 10 it’s just a really bad cold.

So as far as that is concerned, Freudian Slit is medically right. But in a game of Family Feud, the public thinks the went to the doctor for the flu.
