Of course a continent with less education is going to perform badly if compared to others. Education cost money. So, it doesn’t make sense to look for “genetical” origins to economical problems.

Inuits are very smart people, indeed. but sorry, our natives hunted whales like the Inuits, with inflatable boats :D. But after all Inuits, Chinese and Amerindians are the same race, aren’t they? Your future bosses, if the economical trend continues with China rising and the U.S. economy melts down

I think the mythic depopulation of Latin America has lead to it being a non-Western, Third World geographic area.

I guess y’all already figured it out. But I don’t think pinguin is a is a troll because s/he’s discussed other stuff, and because s/he actually backs down when people get upset. I think it’s the language barrier that is throwing off our troll-dar.

Also, anyone have a cite for any SDMB poster* who thinks people of any racial group are inherently and irredeemably superior to people of any other racial group? Someone upthread intimated that lots of posters here believe that–I’d like to see their evidence for it. What’s actually happening is that many people don’t understand what me and Chen and Chief Pedant etc. are actually saying and just think “they are racists.”
