Re: Ovulation

As I am sure you are aware, the economy is experiencing uncertain times. This corporation must balance the twin market forces of supply and demand. Accounting has informed me that in the current economic climate the supply of eggs has far outstripped local demand. Therefore, in a cost and energy saving move, I am directing you to cease all egg production immediately. I am appointing a blue ribbon panel to suggest ways we might repurpose your division’s energies but you should be aware that layoffs are likely.

Your immediate attention to this directive is appreciated.

Of course you realize this will require extensive fact-gathering, analysis, and the necessity of a really neat looking Power Point presentation.

Don’t expect any results until…oh, about mid-forties or early fifties. And the downside of that is that it could include hot flashes, mood swings and unwanted facial hair. But we all have to tighten our belts and work together if we’re going to accomplish a greater good…
