I wear eye-liner quite often. It goes well with those boots. The only thign I can say is practise putting it on for a while. That way you will avoid looking like one of the spooky kids.
Once you get the hang of it it is not difficult, and is quite attractive.
I think that was a bit of a whoosh.
If you wear it right, you will get women in truckloads. Trust me on this.
And Unwritten Nocturne is right, get some practice first to get the hang of it.

I would totally have hubby wearing eyeliner when we went out (if we went out), but he’s squicked out by makeup of any sort, so it ain’t happening.
But mmmm. The boys from Franz Ferdinand, in the clip for This Fire. Eyeliner, sexy suits. Melty me.
I actually used to use a tiny bit on my lower lid. It wasnt nearly enough to be noticable in on itself but it did make my bright blue eyes stand out. I havent used this in years but now that Im dead in the middle of the dating pool again I may just have to. It works.
To add: Try wering mascara as well. The lash lengthening and thickening works wonders. And yeah, women (ar at least a lot of women) do love it. Or it might be part of the whole gothboi attraction thing. Not sure

I’ve recently took some makeup classes to help with my photography. I find that I really like doing makeup and it is not simple in any way. This past weekend I was a makeup artist at Fashion Flipside on the Lower East Side. I did the makeup for three different runway models and of course after makeup they changed clothes in the same tent as me.
Eyeliner on a guy is a look that some guys do when they are going out to a club. Not everyday wear but for something like that.
Get a black eyeliner pencil and a sharpener and give it a try. Just draw a line just under your lashes on the bottom and just above on the top. A lot of women wear black eyeliner on the rims of their lids. That’s a pretty dramatic look but it only looks good if you have huge eyes. Otherwise it makes you eyes look smaller. If you men want to try something that is very subtle and you have small eyes put white eyeliner on the rims of your lids. That makes your eyes look bigger and it’s hard to tell that you did anything unless you are really close.
Wow…didnt think by the end of today Id be getting make up advice on the straight dope. Thats why I cant get enough of this site. SO we are talking a non-noticeable amount. I remember the first time I actually bought eye liner. I had the “its for my girlfriend” excuse ready to fire back if questioned.

I see my bro weighed in on it, and to dissuade any fears - I’m not planning to do this every day. It was more out of curiosity. Perhaps if I go out for the nights or something.
As for pics, I think someone snagged one of me with eyeliner on at the Con, I’ll see if I can get a hold of it. The big issue is that I wear glasses normally so it makes the effect more subtle / hidden. I’ll see if I can get a hold of an eyeliner pen (living with 4 other guys makes it hard to come by) and perhaps play around with it.
