Men's Rights Movement may have a big future.

Inquiring about your sex life (or lack of same) is irrelevant.

I would like to know what specific event or events turned your attention toward Men’s Rights…

Thank you very much.

My friend was very severly abused by his mother, but I was never abused. Is that relevant? That was long before my interest appeared.

Strange as it is I had and have very much free time. Thus I read hundreds of books and got curious about gender issues. I read some feminist and MRA books and found the latter to be more real.

90% of my knowledge about life comes from what I have read.

What else are you a victim of?

I am not a victim – it is just hard to stand alone, thus I should not have brought these issues to a liberal board.

If you needed an echo you could have posted to the numerous MRA blogs out there. If your convictions and beliefs don’t hold up against scrutiny it might be time to reevaluate your stance.

Say what now?:dubious:

What’s the point in preaching to the converted? My beliefs hold under scrutiny – of which there is a lot.

But on this liberal board I got just lots of ad homenim attacks which drain my mental energy. Thus posting it here was my mistake.

He is a “Professional Bitch At People Who Shouldn’t Park In Handicapped Parking Spaces But Do Anyway And Then Coming Here To Bitch About It-er”.

I hear it pays good money and I’m looking into getting into the industry as well.

Good one dude.

Maybe you don’t understand what ad hominem attacks are - you’re getting attacked because you keep saying patently false shit like women who murdered their husbands were heroes to millions of feminists and other lies that try to paint feminists as misandrists trying to silence men. The fact that you can’t see how this makes you look sexist is just further fuel for this “liberal board”.

Posting in multicolor woo is mistake number two. I’m outa this here chat.

Beats preaching to the curious and logical who are likely to vet your cites, do a little research on men’s rights issues on their own, and who have already heard this rap numerous times on this very cite by transparent posters exactly like yourself who refer to the same stats and smokescreens.

Most of us are against child abuse. Apparently it would be just as rude to inquire about your profession (or job, or whatever) as it would to ask about your sex life.

But you really need to get out more and talk to real human beings.

Are the red words in your posts the parts that Jesus said?

I guess it’s unwise for me to continue this thread. But according to some feminist research,

“25.4% of conservative men reported that men today face more discrimination than women”

“a small majority (52.4%) of conservative men believe that men’s gender discrimination experiences today are greater than or equal to women’s”

Thus I am not alone and it is sort of comforting…

Unpaid intern – while I am talking here my computer is woking and every 5 minutes I take a minute to update a mathematical report.

My money is on this group also thinking Christians are oppressed in society. Color me unsurprised.

Messiah complex? Or just failed to do a search? We’ve discussed this at length for several years here. The Men’s Rights Movement isn’t novel, but the legitimate issues such as custody and financial support are often (usually?) eclipsed by the rampant anger at women who won’t “make the first move” who “withhold sex” and who “expect to maintain control over their reproductive rights” (those bitches).

Again with the messiah/victim thing.

Sigh.

Alone in what? In what way are you being discriminated against? Having custody issues? Child support complaints? In what way are you suffering here?

Yes, you’re most likely part of a group that thinks Obama’s the Antichrist and white Christian males in America are oppressed. Kudos at “not being alone”.

Fortunately, I have not experienced any of life’s misfortunes…

Fortunately, my knowledge about life comes from reading…

I am not alone in holding very unpopular opinions.
