It’s Christmas already here in Taiwan. My kids are five and three and this is most magical time for them.

Santa just stopped by, ate some cookies, dropped some gifts and took off again. I think I have time for four hours of sleep before the little one wakes the house.
Thank you for that, Lancia. I lost an old and good friend exactly a year ago - a bittersweet occasion to be sure.
Spent this afternoon wrapping presents and then enjoying a Christmas Eve feast with my wife and sons. At the 9pm service at our church, served as a lector (lay reader) and usher.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.

Lancia, your Facebook post reminds me of the near death of my father from a heart attack. It started late on the Saturday before Easter. I didn’t know how serious it was because his pain was not dramtic, as it would be on film or TV. The next day, on Easter Sunday, he had another episode, and a code blue was called for him. He must have nearly died.
But as he told the rest of the family later “If I had died, what better day for it?”
TokyoBayer, I hope your kids have a great time! Take lots of pictures so that you can embarrass them later in life!
