Hey, whaddayaknow…for once I say “that’s gonna cost ya” to someone making sheep jokes, and it wouldn’t be an empty threat!
Kidding, obviously…
I thought I was the only one who ever wrote that stuff!
Nice to know I have company, Zoe, et al!

That’s wonderful, Poly. There’s some kind of program I heard of (maybe someone else will know the details) where you can trade in any kind of junker and get $4,000 for it toward a new car. But there are new cars now, by people like Hyundai and others selling for six or seven thousand. Check into it. A new car will make an enormous difference in your lives. The only expense you will have for years and years is occasional routine service and oil changes.
I’ve seen several programs like that, but they’ve all put a minimum price on the new car – usually $15,000 to $20,000.
Latest total: $2,555.62. Woot!
Holy shit.
It is true that friendship can not be measured in dollars and cents, but rather in responsiveness to a need.
Still… that’s freaking moneys. And fast.
Wow. Is that including mail-in checks?
Nope…
Good lord, Poly! You’re gonna get yourself a nice car. With your savings, it’s already over three grand. And that doesn’t even include checks yet!
And insurance.
Donation sent. It always feels good to help a Doper in need.
God, you’re right. And property tax. If it weren’t for property tax, our local politicians would be unemployed.
