Michael Cohen's House testimony

Cohen says SDNY is looking into affairs of Trump’s beyond the scope of this hearing, but is not aware of Trump using drugs or procuring abortions.

I can’t watch it because I’m at work, but is this REALLY what they are going with?

Pretty much, yeah. He can’t be trusted because he lied to Congress for Trump etc.

And they keep trying to get him to promise under oath to never pursue a book deal.

Weird. I just got a call from “NRCC”. I didn’t answer it but googling the number shows that it’s the National Republican Congressional Committee. There are no Republicans in this household.

I find it interesting that they called here during the hearing. Maybe they’re trying to find out how many people are watching the hearing, or maybe it was a push poll.

It’s a shame that a nation of rich liars would have killed less people than the real US.

“Our colleagues are not upset because you lied to Congress for the president. They’re upset because you stopped lying to Congress for the president.”

They’re not upset because you lied to Congress for the President, they’re upset because you stopped lying to Congress for the President.

“Yes I was a good lawyer.”

Cohen says Stormy Daniels passed a polygraph.

He also says Trump never paid Pecker back for buying out McDaniel.

I am DYING to read the book he writes. They are terrified of it.

Cohen has no reason to believe the pee tape exists.

That’s not what he was leaning on.

Oh God, Meadows is up again.

“Hey! Remember when we softballed a bunch of questions at you and you lied to us? What’s up with that?”

Meadows deliberately pretending to not understand what words mean.

“Guys, we have proven the President’s long-term friend and attorney is a criminal and a snake. Therefore, Trump is innocent of all wrongdoing!”

AOC eagerly waiting her turn offsides.

Cohen says Sater’s rent-free office in Trump Tower was on Trump’s floor, and that Trump lied under oath about his relationship with Sater.

Cohen says Trump was directly involved in the Moscow negotiations.

The problem the GOP politicians have is the next primary. If they go against Trump, they’re nearly certain to lose to a Trumpist primary opponent. If they don’t, they may well lose to a Dem in the general election, but at least they have a fighting chance.
