Michael Jackson songs on your iPod

I’ve got Billie Jean on my nostalgia mix, though the entire Thriller album is there. Other than that, I hadn’t bothered to get any more. Though now, I think I’d like a copy of Off the Wall.

You?

No Michael Jackson solo stuff.

I do have “I Want You Back,” “I’ll Be There” and “Dancing Machine” from his Jackson 5 days.

Not a thing, except for the sampled bit in Rhianna’s song that is in my workout mix. Jackson hasn’t been relevent to me for almost 20 years.

Only two, Smooth Criminal and Thriller. Good, fast songs.

I have nothing from him or the Jackson 5 in my 5,000+ song library, though I do have a cover of “Billie Jean” by Neil Finn that I quite like.

I have ABC, but that’s it.

I have 179 Michael Jackson solo songs, 155 Jackson 5 songs, and 51 Jacksons songs. The earliest are some Steeltown Records recordings pre-Motown (1967 or so) and the latest from 2001’s Invincible.

Courtesy of the earworm induced by Clerks II, me too. That, “Dancing Machine” and the theme to The Banana Splits was the soundtrack to my primary school days

50 Michael Jackson songs, 11 Jackson 5 songs, and 1 Jacksons song.

Two: Stranger in Moscow and Human Nature

Nothing. I like him fine but am exposed to all I need just through conventional channels and that’s going to do nothing but increase in the foreseeable future. I fully expect MJ sales to take off though. It always happens.

Solo:
Smooth Criminal
Remember the Time
Dirty Diana
The Way You Make Me Feel
Working Day and Night
Don’t Stop ‘Till You Get Enough
Wanna Be Startin’ Something
P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)
Thriller video

Jackson 5:
Rockin’ Robin
Dancing Machine
A B C
Never Can Say Goodbye
I’ll Be There
Who’s Lovin’ You
Going Back to Indiana

I have “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” and the Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back.” That’s it.

Rockin’ Robin is not The Jackson 5, it’s also solo (and young) MJ.

(It was my favorite song ever when I was 4 or 5 years old.)

I think it was the first pop song I ever knew all the words to!

Like all true Americans, I have all of Thriller and Off the Wall on my iPod. Also Bad, Diana Ross Presents the Jackson Five, ABC, The Third Album, and Maybe Tomorrow.

“ABC,” “PYT,” “Thriller,” and “Billie Jean.” That’s all, I think.

Jackson 5:
I Want You Back
I’ll Be There (two versions)
The Love You Save
Never Can Say Goodbye

Michael Jackson:
