Where’s the link? Yeah, I’ll Google it, but how about including the context with the thread - with however many spoiler boxes and broken links the mods deem kosher for such images.
Neither of those is a crime, nor should they be. Jesus, that’s like saying an innocent victim threw the first “punch” by whistling.
Emmett Till died because of the color of his skin, causing a sea change when even prejudiced whites said Till didn’t deserve to get attacked for that. Trayvon Martin died because of the content of his character, causing even decent people to say Zimmerman didn’t deserve to get attacked for that.
If he had been “writing in agony” or even able to hold prone position for any length of time there would have been a lot more blood. For him to have a gunshot wound to the heart and appear bloodless is indicative of a near instantaneous death.
Or I mean, yeah, the whole damn neighborhood should have shown up crushed his ribs to dust without bothering to check his nonexistant vitals first! All us damn white people are subhuman racists though, so his body didn’t have a chance to get beat to shit post mortem for no reason!
Dr. Dre is the name, I’m ahead of my game
Still, puffing my leafs, still with the beats
Still not loving police (Uh huh) Still rock my khakis with a cuff and a crease
The picture screams tragedy. What we see is a defenseless victim whose life was ended unnecessarily. A child wearing a photo button and khaki pants, for Christ’s sake. This was no thug. And the jury had the pic shoved in their faces by O’Mara, who apparently lacks the depth and compassion to see what it broadcasts.
This is my first time seeing this pic. I’m glad Michael Moore posted it. The world should see the truth no matter how raw it is.
I didn’t watch the part in O’Mara’s closing where he showed the jury this picture. Can someone tell me the context? I’m just not getting why he thought this image would help his client.
No, I just missed that and was saying that I’m pretty sure this is the only Zimmerman case thread I’ve ever even posted in, so I’m not one of the usual peanut gallery on either side of the issue. (I mostly showed up because I’m pretty sure Moore wasn’t being the edgy one to pull out the “smoking gun” here, and so he shouldn’t get whatever dubious credit that might gain him.)
