Well…looks like what Arab voters did ended up being pretty inconsequential. There were enough other swing states to push Trump over 270 anyway.
Yep, but they may cost Slotkin her seat in the Senate. That race is too close for comfort.
Meh. In the 2020 MI Senate race there was about 2% that went third party and this time about 2%.
Wednesday morning I checked the vote totals. In each of the 3 “Blue Wall” states, all of Stein’s votes would not have given Harris the victory. It is not a question of being “entitled” - it is about US Presidential politics being a zero sum game.
Not sure why you used the word entitled much less in quotes since I never said that.
I’m not @Steven_Maven but …
Those are scare quotes, not somebody-said quotes, much less you-said quotes.
Various folks upthread, and various professional pundits, have said that the Democrats act as if they are “entitled” to the votes of minorities and immigrants. A purported attitude which many of them supposedly resent.
I realize they are scare quotes but it was a direct response to my post.
Pardon me for thinking it was directed at me.
Whelp, looks like the Arab vote didn’t matter.
Or it just added to all the white male and female vote against Harris.
And Hispanic and black.

A Pro-Israel, Jewish Democrat won the statewide race for Senate in Michigan. Statistically, it is certain that she only won because she won additional votes beyond Harris, even from people who voted for her as well as for Trump.
The narrative that Harris lost because she was too soft on Israel seems shakier and shakier…
Thanks for your help.
Furthermore I was referring to various posts saying Democrats felt entitled to votes diverted to 3rd Party candidates. I should have been clearer.
